2023 CSR Green Tour: Exploring T.Park's Waste-to-Energy Innovation

On the 10th of November 2023, Daiichi Sankyo Hong Kong (DSHK) organized a green tour to T.Park. Known for its innovative “waste-to-energy” concept, T.Park is a cutting-edge futuristic sludge treatment facility located in Tuen Mun, Hong Kong. The visit was aimed at exploring sustainable solutions for waste management and promoting environmental consciousness among its participants.

The tour commenced with an introduction about the design concept behind the eco-friendly facility’s waste incineration process and operations while emphasizing its role in contributing to the sustainability goals. DSHK participants learned about the processes involved in converting sewage sludge into electricity and the utilization of resulting by-products in an environmentally responsible manner.

Throughout the tour, DSHK participants engaged in interactive sessions with experts at T.Park, discussing the challenges and opportunities in sustainable waste management. The exchange of ideas and insights further enriched the experience, fostering a deeper understanding of the complexities involved in environmental conservation and the collective efforts required for positive change.
